The weather this weekend was beautiful, especially Sunday. We ended up spending most of the day playing and wandering our yard.
We recently moved into a new house, but because we moved in the middle of winter we haven't had much chance to explore around our 3 acres. We did a lot of exploring and discovering this weekend.
Here are some random pictures of our outside fun :)
Carrying a plastic egg around on a spoon
Finding a fuzzy plant
Showing me the fuzzy leaf from the plant
Some strawberry flowers in the grass
Playing at the water table making more soup, just like in our Playing With Water post
She added grass, leaves and flowers to her soup
Blowing bubbles with her new bubble blower
Maddie straining the grass cuttings from the pond
Sammie trying to ride her bike in the grass
Soaking up some of the sun
We found some forget-me-nots growing and Sammie had to pick some :)
3 almost over tulips in one of our gardens
We even managed to convince Rylie to come outside for a bit
Three of the kids heading over to explore the swampy area next to us
The girls posing in the "Wizard's House"
This group of trees contains the "Wizards's House"
The treasures we found while wondering around. I really would like to make something with these, but not sure what
Sammie ended up the weekend with some painting
I think she decided that her brush weren't working well enough and that her hands would work better lol
Her masterpiece :)
It was so nice to be able to spend some time outside :) Maybe one of these days we will get outside while Austin is awake instead of during his nap time
Hopefully this is just the beginning of our weekends outside playing
If anyone has any ideas on what to do with our nature walk treasure, please share here by commenting or on our Facebook page I would love to hear your ideas :)
