Noisy Week: Jingle Bell Bracelets

bells bracelets music instruments noisy

It's Noisy week here this week and I've been sharing our home made musical instruments. Yesterday I shared our Balloon/Tin Can Drums, that the girls really like :)

Today I will share a very quick and easy musical instrument, Jingle Bell Bracelets. I found the instructions for these jingle bell bracelets at Storytime Songs.

To make these bracelets, you will need
-at least 5 bells
-2 pipe cleaners

Thread the bells evenly onto one of the pipe cleaners. Then wrap the second pipe cleaner around the first one. We wrapped a bit tighter around the bells to help hold them in place. Join the ends together by wrapping them around each other. I tried to make sure the sharp end were hidden and not sticking out, so that no one got scratched.

The girls each made two of the bell bracelets, one for their wrist and one for their ankle. We had to make Sammie's wrist bracelet small to fit her wrist, so we spaced the bells fairly close together and overlapped the ends of the pipe cleaners, wrapping them together to make the bracelet smaller.

These bracelets were fun and easy to make :) Sammie loved making the bells jingle as she walked around and shook her foot and arm. Maddie gave Austin one to play with it and he loved shaking it and hearing the bells jingling. :)

Be sure to come back tomorrow for more of our Noisy Week and another musical instrument :)

  1. Those are really cute bracelets. I imagine you could make different versions of those around the holidays too with a winter theme. Please stop by and link this to Artsy Play Wednesday on Capri + 3.
